Sonodynamic therapy (SDT) is a noninvasive treatment that uses low-intensity ultrasound and sonosensitizers to kill tumor cells. High-frequency ultrasound waves activate the sonosensitizer, producing reactive oxygen species (ROS) or other cytotoxic effects that safely destroy the targeted cells.
Benefits
Targets and destroys tumor cells without harming healthy tissue
Ultrasound penetrates deep tissues, reaching hard-to-treat tumors
Minimal side effects compared to chemotherapy or radiation
Reduces inflammation and promotes faster healing
May Help With:
- Tumors and malignancies
- Chronic infections
- Autoimmune diseases
- Inflammatory conditions
